Does anybody know if I can have ACD with the NVM 2000WS centralized V.M. or do I need A VRS card.I am trying to have an ACD group over VOIP and a ACD group on site but I cant get prompts for stall messages. I cant get a straight answer from NEC. Anyone?

I cannot imagine it would work over a network like that. I don't know for sure though.

The actual ACD is programmed in the switch itself the only thig the VM is used for is the announcements and overflow destinations.
As far as using a VoIP set for an ACD station, yes you can use them just like any set. If you are trying to use VoIP networking to route trunk calls to another site then yes you will need a seperate ACD setup in the distant switch and you can not use the Centralized VM for the announcements, use a VRS card in the distant location, its faster and you can hacve more simultanious announcements.

Thanks for the replys guys. Say I didnt have a network and I only had one system. Can you use the centralized V.M. for stall prompts. NEC tech. support is telling us that you need the VRS card for the prompts. It also says that in the manual. I have worked on alot of ACD applications and have used the V.M. for prompts but they have all been digital integration.
