I am new with NEC products and i am just starting to get my feet wet, my Question is i've been given the task of allowing a station to have access to dial out. there is also a code that the customer uses (when he dials from his phone) and wishes to change. does anyone have any type info to help me program this. the customer has an ipk system.
Any and all help would be great. thank you

Okay, if the customer is using account codes for dial out, then they are probably security conscious. That makes these security-related questions.
Since you don't have a complete profile (email and website, preferably an email at the same website), chances are that no one's going to answer this, since, so far as we know, you might be a hacker from Estonia, or even just an employee trying to subvert the company PBX.
So, how about completely filling out the profile before this conversation goes any further?
Thanks.

thanks for the concern but i can assure you that i am not a hacker. if i wanted to make long distance calls i'll just connect my butt set to the rj21x in the customers mdf roomand listen as i connect to each set of pins to find an open line and dial away on there copper lines coming in. im looking to give the customer access.

Which part of this:
Profile for loff68 Rate Member 5: Highest Rating 4 3 2 1: Lowest Rating Member Status: Member Member Number: 5749 Registered: June 16, 2005 Posts: 15 Would tell me that you are a phone tech and not a hacker? Also, it is board policy -- not mine, see the terms of use etc. -- not to answer security related questions for people with incomplete profiles.
No offense intended, merely being prudent.
