I have a customer that I set up with a DS2000. They are renting space and a phone extension to another person who is using just one line and a VM box. I set it up so that calls from line eight ring directly to this extension, and nowhere else, then forward to their mailbox (not the AA) on a RNA. The question is, can this person dial in to their number (line eight) and retreive their msgs from the personal greeting, or must they call the main number of the "parent" company and use the #+ext. no. method from the AA to get there?

Yes, provided the other company is full AA. Or if not, the person answering the line will have to push them to AA
Why not just set him up with his own AA?
Much easier and functional

Call in on line 8, once his mail box answers, try pushing *#(star, pound). The AA message should start playing ,then you can do #, extension

Well you could just setup a NCRMB for that ext to 001 and setup the DAT accordingly. That's what I would do! This way it performs the same with the(hidden logon option)!
