When a caller calls a station that had DND on it the person calling will hear reorder tone. The telephone has been programmed for call forward busy and no answer to voice mail box. Call forwarding seems to work fine on a busy or no answer, it is just when they put the DND on that the caller does not get through to the individuals voice mail box. This happens when you just dial the extensions 4 digit intercom or if you go outside the switch and call in it does the same thing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Use call forward all instead of DND as the DND will override any other setting and just block calls getting through.

There is a bit you can turn on to set DND forwarding, that way if anyone set DND it will go to the destination station.
Command 51
5110 DE XX (tenant number) DE XXX (VM pilot or specified station) EXE
You can talk about us, but you can't talk without us.
