I can get our copy of SAT running and login, but I need to know whether to use the DB25 port for the MIFM or the DB9 directly on the ETU in order to communicate with the unit. Either way - I get "Data Set Ready is off"
hints?

You connect from the serial port of your computer to the 25 pin connector (Com 1) on the side of the 192 cabinet.

In my case, since my laptop doesn't have a serial port, I use a USB to serial adapter which ends in a db9 connector, plug in my programming cable and I use a db9 to db25 adaptor on the other end of the programming cable to attach to com1 of the EE192.

This I have done, and "Data Set Ready is off" is the response. (or timeout on the other COM ports)

When you go to COMMUNICATIONS and select CONNECT and the page comes up that says CONNECTION TYPE and you press CONNECT, do the black and yellow symbols keep trying to connect or do they connect?

"Data Set Ready is off" displays after blinking twice. Other COM ports blink and blink ("Connecting to KTS System - Please Wait ...") until the Retry Count is reached.

Follow-up... I managed to get things working for some time. I am using a single dedicated "phone manager" system which has CoSessions, SAT, and our Call Data Manager/CallAnalyst software installed. Problems I've encountered since and resolved were: COM port limitation (some older programs dont like being on anything except COM1 or 2) and USB - Serial conversion difficulties. (using a 'virtual machine' setup msg me if you want details) Thanks for the continued assistance - this board rocks.
