Where can I find information on; if there is an update available for our Elite Voicemail system? (With out calling our tech as it starts to cost too much)

You really shouldn't be getting charged just to ask if there's a new version available. Your vendor should have your system version information on record. At the very least, you are asking if they have any upgrades they can sell you. A pre-sales visit to determine what version you have now should be free in my opinion.

you can log into the vm as a manager. and get the version that way.

Can you tell me how out of date my Elite 48 is?
Software version Q; Driver version 306; Firmware 130
Also, a tech gave me a CD that he said I can use a laptop to program my system - please confirm. The CD has on the front: "NEC EliteMail VMP Support CD, version Q002. Contents BRUWin, Cosession, Documentation".

the q version is what i'd need
and yes-cosession is the software used to program the vm
