Just a quick question about programming a Mod-U10 remote modem in an IPK II.
I have a copy of PC-Pro etc but can find no reference to how or where this is to be programmed. The paper work supplied is of little help as it seems to refer to an older IPK My aim is to set up a button to allow dial in access to the system. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Jason..

Put the modem into the socet on the CPU and program the modem access number into MB 11.15.14. Note this is not a station number but a feature code. Add this feature code to the DID translation entry in 22.11.02. A better way if their IT folks aren't to paranoid is to pinhole from their broadband router port 8000 to the IP address of the CPU that way it can be accessed via the WWW and PCPro. Much faster than dial up modem..

Thanks Paul I tried the IP route but the "IT Gurus" got scared and wouldn't let me open a port.
I ended up doing what you said and used the last DID number they had available are redirected it.
How do you guys go about this when it is a purely PSTN solution. Might be basic stuff but I work for a newly appointed dealer who has sold systems and as yet have had no training. Our blurb from the sales guy was we could put the system into "x" night mode and have a line divert to the modem. As yet have not worked out how to do that.
Thanks in advance. Scar..

If it's a CO only solution we generally get the operator to xfer the call to the extension or if they have voicemail route it via the AA..
The "Nite" solution would be to DIL (22.02 & 22.07) the last I/C trunk to the modem number so when that trunk number is called it goes to the modem..
