Hey guys as you probably know, NEC XN120 Re branded as philips IPC100.

we have 2 ipc100's one at one site and one at another,

they are both fully configured.

we have now added in a voip card in slot 6 on both systems and we want to program voip between the two.

we have to vpn enabled routers and the vpn has been sorted.

no1 from nec/philips seems to know how the voip works and will not help us,

i was wondering is there anyone that knows exactly what we have to program to allow the voip to work.

we can ping both sites from one another and we can program both sites from one another.

the other question is, we have been told that we may need to buy SIP, is this correct?

also do we need to buy SIP Trunks or SIP Extensions?, now i know it probably depends on what the customer wants it to do, but will the IPC100 support either of them??

any help would be much appreciated.

cheers

Acording to this web site it is what we call down here a NEC Topaz system. A 16/24 hybrib keyphone system that uses the Aspire / IPK2 software..

I don't think you will find many people in NA or down my part of the world that can help you with the VOIP trunking as the system is not released in NA and VOIP trunking is not released in Australia or New Zealand..
