We have an Electra Elite IPK, and I'm wondering how to program it to use the new DST rules Congress has so ignorantly forced on us.
(PS: I have to add, for those of you considering buying one of these, it is absolutely terrible at being user-friendly!)

The time change has to be done manually on the Elite IPK.
I have serviced many IPK's and the users have not had a problem doing changes themselves, do you think the absolutely terrible portion of your post is due to lack of training?

It's easy to bad mouth something you don't understand.

Go figure. I was told it was automatic and to find out how to change it.
As for being extremely user-unfriendly, that really has nothing to do with DST. The system in general is nowhere near as easy as the old system, we can't even change the greeting messages. There are numerous other issues of poor system design as well.
Thanks and sorryy to bother.

what greeting messages? the main? very simple (depending on how it was installed):
1>log into a mailbox that has manager status 2>click more 3>click mgr 4>click greet 5>then foloow the prompts to change the day/night/holiday messages
simple unless you're not a manager

Amazing how those not in the know can bad mouth a product based on their own ignorance!

Any of these systems can be said to be user-unfriendly...until you get the hang of it!
I do see where you're coming from!

Cram, I stand corrected, you of course are correct. I made an assumption that he was a end user without SAT software and didn't think about posting memory blocks. I will take a piece of that humble pie now.
