There have been quite a few changes directed at residences, but hopefully we don't go that route. These are some nice upgrades overall. I think the email integration brings tons of added value for its price point even without synchronization. I guess the proof will be in the implementation.

As always, we're looking for your help with the field trials. Please give it a try in your next install. Any comments you have would be greatly appreciated. | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 1,217 Member | Member Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 1,217 | Built in modem is what I'm looking forward to...

I hope it all goes well. | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,596 Member | Member Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,596 | Well, though I successfully tested the modem on an 80, we are having a problem getting it to work on a 40 that we updated...putting in a question to tech support and will let you know how it pans out... | | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 201 Member | Member Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 201 | Are you using the auto attendant?
If so, please note that the DSX-40 default dial action table only has an entry for digit 3 and not 4 (like the DSX-80). Since the default modem ext. is 428, you won't be able to connect using the AA without making a change to the defaults. | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,596 Member | Member Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,596 | I got in by having someone transfer me...
UPDATE
Shortly after I looked things over, I saw the the table does have 4 set as a UTRF/XXX. I added 8 to be UTRF directly to ext 428 and nope! It still doesn't connect.
Soooo, have I got a faulty Auto Attendant or VM (I have since tried a connection via transfer and it didn't work...could also be noisy lines.) | | | Forums95 Topics94,281 Posts639,023 Members49,425 | Most Online5,661 May 23rd, 2018 | |
