We have an NEC IPKII and want to know how to return call from the CID list on the set by digit insertion, or deletion of digits not needed?

I believe you need to create a dial definition, so it will remove the area code or the 1+a/c for local calls.
it's all tip and ring

Frank, can you elaborate on this a little bit more? Are you referring to ARS? I was in hopes that when viewing the number from the CID list, you could at that point modify the digits to be dialed.

For what it's worth. If you just want to strip off your local area code for CLID and callback (ISDN) you can do this in MB 10.0.04 by adding the area code in there.

Thanks PaulW I found it in 10.02.04, I think I will still have to set up ARS, but will try this. Thanks so much!
