Any recommendations for a cf burner to download software upgrades for the DSX ?
And reasonable priced cards.

Ken,
Anything 32MB or larger will work as far as the card is concerned. I bought a bunch of 32s at some Eckerd drug stores for $2.32 each because they can barely give away the small capacity cards.
Staples shows an EDGE cf card for 14.99 and a $10 rebate to bring it down to $4.99
And for the reader any one will work. I have a PCMCIA to CF adapter that I always leave in my laptop and just pull out the cf cards with my finger tips. For around the house I have an old sandisk reader and a newer sony reader. All 3 work equally well.

you can also do it directly from your laptop without using a card
(I wish I realized that before I spent 50 for a card and burner ,cheapest I could find locally in a hurry )

Upgrading Via the PC Admin software requires V01.01.27 or higher and administrator 1.01 or higher ans a USB connection.

....and the card is a lot quicker than the laptop upload. You can only use the laptop once you have the v1.27 or above. If you are going to use the card for....say, v1.30, then use the laptop to v2.11....why not just use the card to go to the v2.11? It is a lot faster.
