Had breakfast...not on site...did all this on Fri. Yes extension does have a mailbox...on the 2000 w/2E you could designate that mailbox as an announcement but not w/dsx/intramail, only choices are personal or group

I'm pretty sure that if you give that extension a personal mailbox, assign dialing option to it, and make sure the dial action table that it's following is timing out to hang-up then it should work.
If not, then I guess we'll have to wait for senor Deus.

Pretty sure I've got all those steps covered but will affirm tomorrow. Presently doorbox user hears "system Prompt", "to end your recording press any key"..etc..

no those steps don't work...call never leaves the personal mailbox. Best I could do is to allow only 1 msg in these mailboxes and the caller/doorbox user hears "mailbox is full goodbye". That'll have to do.
