I am getting an Error 1008 (Unknown file format) in trying to install Firmware Service Pack 4 on an IAD(8)-U10. The firmware file is IAD(8)-U10 SP04.spk I have all 8 SW2 switches set to On and was able to login to the IAD. The LEDs on the IAD are as described in the Service Pack pdf file. The IAD upload screen does not show any Service Pack currently loaded. I tried to load the Service Pack Removal file SP00_nosvcpck.spk and get the same error. I recall having this problem on another IAD but forgot what the solution was. Do I need to load an earlier Service Pack first? I noticed that in Service Pack 2, you have to load SP02_prep.pkg before loading the Service Pack. Do you need to have the Service Pack file in the C: root directory (I know this sounds silly but I have seen similar problems with other software).
