Hello Fellow Techs,
We are looking for someone to assist us in Networking 11 sites together. All of the sites have NEC ASPIRE phone systems.
We are Avaya Certified. therefore we will need a little assistance. The networking consist of setting up a T1 between the sites.

If they were NEC IPKII sites, I could help. We have done a few of that size.

You will need to check a few things first.

1. Are all the systems the S systems?
If they are you will have to use VoIP networking between those sites as the S does not support T1/PRI networking.

2. If any of these systems are M systems, they have to have the 256 port CPU or the upgrade chip mounted on the 64 port CPU.

If these are M,L or XL systems, PRI networking requires a PRI for each path and the maximum is 8 PRI per system so that kinda knocks out PRI networking for 11 sites.

Using VoIP networking requires managed T1's to all sites, Quality of service set up all routers and switches,plus alot of programing.

QoS is very important, extension numbering will be fun also.

You would be surprised how similiar the physical programming is about 90% the same.
