Okay... I'm a Samsung tech, but I've got a friend asking me the following question. He's not a tech, but an end-user in an office. The "Feature" button light is flashing. And the LED in the upper right above the display is blinking. How does he clear this? I'm guessing another user left some type of call-back notification?

Which NEC system are they using? Elite series, IPK, IPKII, IPS2000?

I don't know and since he is just an end-user, I know he doesn't know. I was just hopping it was a universal feature.

That NEC set can work on the Elite, IPK, IPK II, Neax 2000 & Neax 2400 systems. It would be very helpful to know what kind of switch it is hanging off of.
My 1st guess would be message waiting from their voice mail system...which would indicate it is a key system. What does it say in the LCD?

On the phone press Feature then the number 3 and tell us what if anything comes up on the display. On some of the key system Feature 99 Feature will clear a blinking Light but we need to know what type of system to tell you for sure.

If it is the feature key flashing I would think that the phone is in DND mode...Can you call the ext?

Sorry, I didn't see the first panel....that the VM light is blinking also..If feature AND the VM light are active...check the display for details. you can probably use the softkeys to remove.

Thanks for all the responses, I don't know anything new on the status. I am getting my CCNA this week and the end user is in Ireland this week... so I will know more next week.
