I have come across a page pac device for avaya. Apparently this thing only supports 45 ohm speakers, not 25v/70v speakers. I need to get 2, preferably small horns, and am not having any luck locating outdoor horn speakers.

I have looked at Bogen and Valcom with no success. I would also like the speaker to have a volume knob, or a multi-tap volume control.

Can someone point me to a manufacture that produces this?

olhms and volts are different........

ive used bogen spt5 or 15 self amplified horns.

Then again I prefer to use a 24 volt paging system by Valcom. You cant beat it...

Valcom does make them or at least they did, here is a link. May be of some help for part numbers.

I seen those valcom speakers. I am looking for outdoor. I also see they are refered to as 'voice coil' speakers.

I would rather deal with 70v but they have this system already in place so I am just adding speakers to this pagepac.

I have NO idea who these people are, I just did a Google on "45 ohm speaker". The first item seems to be a 45 ohm horn, and farther down is the page pac that uses them. You could try giving them a call.

A6, 45ohm voicecoils were not unusual for the old pagepac systems.
This may be what your looking for, i believe #3 setting will give you 45ohms and it can be used outdoors.
