From station 100, with the handset down, press the Feature key, dial 9# and enter the time as a 4-digit number (i.e. 1:30 would be entered as 0130, unless the system is set for a 24-hour clock). Use the Recall key to toggle between am/pm. When the time is correctly displayed on the screen, press the Feature key again.

This from a TIB I put together back last century.

Below is the method for changing the time and date on the NEC Elite system.

To access the time and date area you must be at the Attendants phone ie 800 or 801. This may vary depending on you systems configuration,

To enter program mode:

1. With the phone idle press FEATURE + 9 + #

2. The time will be displayed. Enter the hour and minutes in 12 hour time format. To shift back to the left press the * button. To move to the right press the # button. Press the RECALL button to change from AM to PM When the correct time is entered press the HOLD button.

3. The date will now be displayed. If the date is correct press the FEATURE button and the correct time and date will be displayed. Press the HOLD button to go to date mode.

4. If you have to change the date do the following. Press the RECALL button until the correct day is displayed. Press the # button to move to the next field. Enter the date , To change the month press the RECALL button until the correct month is displayed. Press the # button to move to the year field. Enter the last two digits of the year ie 99 for 1999 or 00 for 2000. Press FEATURE to set the date. The phone display will now show the updated time and date.
