We aquired an NEC NEAX 2000 IVS r1920 WCS phone system with wireless phones too, everythings working but the wireless, I've done alot of research and no luck to bring up the wireless phones, first all the info for wiring the antennas is different, one piece of NEC literature say's to wire one way, another one this way, I have red power lights and red blinking status lights, also I can't make the CISA2 ports idle in CMD E53, their up and blinking and connected to the SC03 card but can't release them unless I pull the cards but go back when cards are put back, I have all the wireless ID info but when I get the LVP code from NEC and try to load it with MATWORX I get code error 50, is there a shotcut or special code you can use or anything else I can do to get this working? My company is depending on me, NEC wont help because I don't have a NEC ID, plus because its older help is limited too, if there's anyone who can help it would be very very much appreciated, Thank You.

This can be tough. I'm not such help here. Too much to run through here. I have this running on an IPS & it should't be much different. Whenever it goes down (2 times in six years), it takes me a while to get things back in order. Your best bet might be to call a local authorized dealer who has a 2000 master tech or equal. It could save you days of frustration.

MATWORX will not work with the 2000 IVS you will need a copy of matworx studio to load the LVP code in or put it in using the commands. Without an LVP code in the system you will not get the wireless to work at all. Wireless in the IVS was a lot more difficult than it is the newer systems. Your best bet is to get an NEC Dealer in your area that is familiar with wireless to help you with this.

You can put the LVP code in using commands?, I couldn't find that anywhere, I wondered if you could, do you have to have matworx studio to do it by commands?

1. Set the ZT's to idle before putting in the LVP code.
2. Remove the LVP code VIA mat mode "G1"
3. Enter into ZT OPERATION and change the ZT's to TYPE 1 and MAKE IDLE
4. BACK OUT the CSI cards and reset the system.
5.Enter LVP code into the Matworx32 field and do an UPDATE and all ZT's will come back authorized.
