My company is currently acquiring a building with a NEC Neax 2000 IPS that is coming with the building. Our current phone system is a Win 440CT and my question is which system would give the following.
1. Best scalability.
2. Best uptime.
3. Best service support.
Our company wants to grow to a national level so I need a system that can grow with us. We currently have approx. 80 employees, and within a couple of years we want to be at 200, and branching out to other locations.
Please any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

NEAX 2000IPX is 672 ports system with IP capability. To get a support you have to have a NEC dealer as a Vendor or be a national account with NEC Direct as your service provider. I don't know what kind of support WIN gives you but NEC put you on the waiting list always. you never can get a live support on first ring.

IPX capacity is way over your figure it can be scaled up to run a small city but as we are talking about the IPS the total number of ports depending on configuration can be as many as 1020 assuming a mix of traditional (hate that term legacy) and IP however in practice that figure would be reduced by connectivity issues such as how many IP-Pads are fitted. The big advantage with the Ips is the ability to install DMRs at remote locations making your remote offices easier to integrate into a network.
