First what is the difference between an 8IPLA and an 8IPLA PAD-_?
Will the 8IPLA support the IP dterms or is the IP PAD needed?
Finally, does a PZ-24IPLA mounted to a PN-8IPLA bring it up to 32 ports?
Any help is appreciated.
You guys have helped me a lot with about 3 questions in the past as I have built this IPS from cheap ebay parts and done all the programming from a fresh C-load for the PRI, VMS, and call distribution myself. I am so glad this forum exists.
I am now having a vendor come out to upgrade software and add IP licensing and want to be sure to have all my ducks in a row first.

First what is the difference between an 8IPLA and an 8IPLA PAD-_? This is the same card. The 8IPLA IPT is a SIP Trunk card.
Will the 8IPLA support the IP dterms or is the IP PAD needed? Well yes, Th IP phones actually come form the MP not from the PAD the PAD is required to make an IP to TDM connection.
Finally, does a PZ-24IPLA mounted to a PN-8IPLA bring it up to 32 ports? Yes
With all this said the IPS Will still require SW to work.
Let the tech do the work and pay them well and on time we all are here to help but every one needs to make money.
