I have a problem with a UM8000 with the CD VM-00, on an SV8100 v1.10. It was unable to be recognised in programming when assigning the card in the slot. I changed the UM8000 CF and that worked however when programming the extensions to VM ports and restarting it hasn't come back up.
I am unable to ping/connect to it and it doesn't have the green run (far right)led flashing. It has the LED on the left flashing slowly as though it has lost sync with the chassis.

Kinda strange.
Have you tried removing the UM8000 card, Running the system up and then deleting the card out of system with webPro, shut the system down, insert the UM8000 and boot system and have a look with Webpro to see it it is reconized.
Also have you exceded the 64 ports of a basic system by adding the UM8000??

It is a faulty blade or CF. Have replaced blade and CF. All OK.
