Does anybody out there remember the proper procedure to upgrading the epro from V500 to V700? I know you'll have to dig deep into the memory system but what are you going to do with customers that refuse to upgrade their systems completely. Thanks

You will need to aquire the V700 chipset to replace the V500 chipset on the CPU.

Agreed. You just need to replace the chips on the CPU. Don;t forget to do a backup first, just in case..

Ok so all I have to do is replace my chips and reinsert the cpu and it will boot itself. There are no dip switch settings to change at all?

Nope. It's that simple.

I would heed bsvec's advice regarding a database back-up. If the CPU battery has'nt been replaced recently, it might not hold the programming. It could be an opportunity to convince the customer it is time to upgrade to the SV8100.
