Hi People, Can anyone enlighten me about the SV8300 BHCA (Busy Hour Call Attempts) for an SV8300 using UCB Operator Console. We've been told that the SV8100 will handle 1500BHCA, which is not enough for the customer, but cannot get the info for the 8300. UCB limits the number due to TAPI constraints.
Many Thanks, Peter305

Maximum Traffic Capacity: 12,000 BHCA Traffic Conditions: 1- 2n + m < 12,000 BHCA n: Call Traffic from DT700 series m: Call Traffic from other terminals 2- Call Mix Outgoing Call: 30% Incoming Call: 30% Intra-office Call: 40%
I do not know of any limit issued with the UCB on the SV8300.

Thanks for the reply NEC Tek. Let me put it this way, is there any reason that an 8300 with 3 x UCB operators could not answer and transfer 2000 calls per hour. NEC seemed to have some concern regarding the 8100, which has a limit of about 5000. They were rather vague about the reasons, just said Tapi was the issue.

Sorry, let me rephrase that. The BHCA of the 8100 is officially 4800. NEC say that with TAPI and UCB that limit is reduced to a level of 1500 that they will guarantee. Does this make sense to anyone? From that the 8300 should have a figure of 3750 with UCB. Thanks. Peter305
