Ok, that's good. There was a file you had to replace in the 1.61 software (intra.dbu) that fixed a problem with INmail and DTMF recognition.

Let us know how the upgrade goes.

NEC had a display problem with a batch of phones a while back. They were replacing them at no charge. Here is the info:

Problem Description:
There has been a non critical issue found in the LCD displays in a certain production period of NEC Terminals. Symptoms of this issue can be seen as missing characters or pixel rows or columns on the LCD display. This issue is most commonly seen after several months of use.

The percentage of terminals that may display this issue is still under investigation and is predominantly on terminals manufactured during certain months in 2006. All new and repaired phones currently being shipped have been fully screened and are problem free.

Problem:
A LCD cable from an alternate vendor is the suspect for these isolated LCD problems.

Resolution:
NEC Unified Solutions will replace phones that exhibit this failure regardless of warranty status and will provide advance replacement.

Solution:
When addressing this issue contact Customer Service at 1-800-752-6275 with the following information:
1. Customer or Dealer name
2. Number of Problem Terminals
3. Type of Terminals
4. Color of Terminal
5. Lot Number of Terminal
6. How long installed
