I'm working with an electra elite ipk2 system and a bunch of nec dtu's. Phone forwarding only works when an extension is dialed directly . I am aware that this is typical.

My question is how do I make it so when the direct 800 # is called, the phone gets forwarded also?
And, when a caller uses the auto-attendant, that call does not get forwarded either. My big concern is the direct calls though.

Thanks, Joel

Are you using DID's? And the 800 number is pointed to a Local Number and the Local Number is Pointed to a Ext? When is The off site Call Forward working?

yes, using did's. The 800# when dialed is pointed to a particular extension. Well, actually a virtual extension that consists of 3 - if that makes sense..

The off site call forwarding has never worked as far as I know.

Thanks for the reply - -

was unchecked. but, I'm not trying to forward a call off premise - -

i'm trying to get incoming did calls forwarded to a different extension.

I thought the virtual extension rang 3 different extensions.

thanks

It allows you to use off site Call forward. To forward to another Telphone Number, like a Cell phone or Answering Svc. Home Number Ect..
If your not off site forwarding, use pgm.24-09 to forward the virtual to Voice Mail. Be sure to make V.M Box to Match Virtual.

If you use 24-09, you may need to add The Virtual to the Phone you want to Overflow to.
