DSX 80 with 160 cabinet, two power supplies, two digital station cards, one analog station card, one sixteen C O card, one eight C O card, and standard four port VM. Running 2.25 software.
Somehow last night it lost transfer and button programming, did a reload. Now there are issues.
Sucker won't accept memory changes. The ports are in the second digital station card. Reseated. Re-init system. Better but still it just moved the problem. No, I was unable to swap the station cards due to call load.
***Scratch head...scratch head....***
Four hours later works but not correctly. Only three working stations on this card....two out of three work fine. After the init the problem moved to another extension and the defective one worked fine....
Suggestions?

Ken,
Did your area go through lighting storms that night? If you did I would check both power supplies.
How long has this system been in operation, just installed or existing?

It sounds as if your station card went bad.... however, try reassigning the card: unseat the affected card, unassign the slot in 1201 = 00, reseat the card, verify slot in 1201 = 1.
It may help to reboot the system after deleting the slot and before reseating the card.

Lightning with a power outage....but the system is on an UPS. This system is a new install that has worked flawlessly for over 30 days.
Good idea on the port reassignment.
I'll try that next week.
Thanks, guys.

Okay, to this part of the story....they turned on the HVAC....wired to the panel the comm stuff is in. Everything flickers when the AC units start up.....plus voltage on the ground.
Now, we wait for sparkie.....
