a client has an aspire s with a 4 hr intramail inskin voicemail. recently it locks up after a few operations and the aspire s must be rebooted to restore voicmail.has anyone seen this symptom? Thanks. PS- It was recently reprogrammed for a new client.

Sounds like your intramail is on its last legs. Plug the intramail card in your laptop and see if the utility will recognize it. If it does recognize the card try to do a backup. If the utility locks up during the backup then reinitialize the card and reprogram. If you still have a problem then its time to get a replacement. :scratch:

How much of this NEC Aspire S Intramail issue is a direct result of NOT being upgraded from 1.10 to 1.32? Also keep in mind that the software is still S 3.0.0 compared to the latest S.7.32. Lastly where can somebody purchase both the reader/utility and a new NEC Intramail card quickly? Thank you.

The intramail prompt version is not causing any of your issues. Upgrading the system software to 7.32 is worth a shot but there are no intramail fixes that address a problem like yours. Sorry need to be a dealer to get software/parts. :shrug:

Sanfransito, Bodie is exactly right you need the intramail utility to grab a copy of the database off the compact flash... this happens every few years on the intramail.. you have to nuke it and reload the prompts back on... unfortunately the only place you can get the utility is on the Aspire website... sorry dude..
