On the NEC Elite IPK, how are new CO lines configured to the voice mail's main greeting? I have copied an existing CO line's settings, but the old CO lines play a different main greeting than the new CO lines--or play the "I'm sorry. I did not hear your selection..." message.

Voice mail ports are 21-24 in the system, but in the MB 4 settings, I don't see how the old CO lines' settings are any different than the new CO lines' settings.

Thank you for any help.

you have to look in mb 3-42 and 3-43 and see what the old co line is pointing to. match that for the other ports.

Are you using PRI or Copper?

In 3-42 and 3-43, all the co lines point to the same--voice mail extension 300. I don't know the answer to PRI or Copper.

check 4-14 and 4-15. This would be the hunt group, are they forwarded to the next number? 4-14 yes for master hunt, 4-15 next x number.

what do you mean a Different Greeting from the old Line's? Are these line's that were added or Replaced? And You put them on the Same Line Key's?

We went from 6 incoming lines to 15 incoming lines. If I call in on line 1-6, I get one main message. If I call in on lines 7-15, I get a different main message. Where are they drawing this information from? The Memory Block programming looks all the same.

There's a couple of thing's you can Check, if your connected to the Voice Mail with Co-sessons watch the port's and see witch box is answering the Call's. Also Check in CTRL+S to see if Trunk Mapping is Being Used. Re-check your D+N Ringing they may be Ringing in on a CAR Key That is Forwarded All to VM.

Thank you Rickman. The CTRL+S setting is what I was missing. Some lines were routed to the alternate greeting and some were routed to a deleted greeting from when we subleased.
