I have a customer that uses an Aspire M for their phones, they just switched over to a PRI from analog lines. Is there a way to block their caller-id on their phones when they make an outgoing call? They used to input *67 before each call to do their accounts receivable.

Program 20-08-15 will automatically insert a *67 into the number dialed for extensions in that COS. Program 14-01-20 will allow certain channels to block outgoing caller ID. Sounds like you might have to set up a separate outgoing trunk group to make this work. I must add that I've never tried it on a PRI though.

Also, look at programs 21-12-01 and 21-13-01 for outgoing caller ID per trunk and per station.

*67 does not work on a PRI.

Look at the outbound ANI like eriway stated. Also, sometime the carrier has to allow you to override the outbound ANI.

Here in the netherlands when you have a digital phone on an ASPIRE you can program in 15-07 a functionkey with code 63 Called ID Restriction mode. this way you can restrict the caller id for external calls.

eriway is right... just make sure the carrier has the pri set for customer preference. If you put anything in 21-13 it will overide 21-12. Some number has to be sent so either the number from the station, the trunk or the carrier will send the BTN. You CANNOT put a number outside of the block assigned to that PRI anymore. Carriers will get fined for spoofing caller ID, part of the national no call registry

The Simple Answer would be to Call your PRI Provider ant tell them to Make all your Line's to Output the Main Telephone Number.

Be careful and let the customer know some business have no caller id/ blocked id refuse set on their lines and it can make it a pain to call their vendors for things.
