Need to call forward a CAR port/extension to an offsite number. Offsite+CAP are key, as need to not require a phone standing by for this to work.

Familiar with call forwards such as this topic .

Thought it was possible but the version of software I've got avail might not support (3.52).

TIA

you will most likely need to do this from the front desk or an admin phone. Not all phones are in the class of service which allows them to do this feature.

To call fwd this CAR you need to know it' ext number.

The default admin CFD codes are:

47 - all calls set
48 - all calls cancel
45 - busy no answer set
46 - busy no answer cancel

for example, if my CAR ext was 350, and I wanted to forward it to the outside number (212)555-1212 I would go to the front desk, ext 100 and dial the following:

[speaker] 47 350 (phone starts beeping) 912125551212 [speaker]

to test, dial ext 350 from any phone

You must turn on "Trunk-to-Trunk" transfer in 3-04 for each trunk, and allow it in COS 1-8-08 ( pg3-lk5, pg4-lk4).

Per my notes, CAR call forward off premise is supported in version 4000 or higher.
