I have a customer with Aspire phone system. After a power failure they were having bad feed back on line 1. I flipped line 1 & line 5 CO ports. The problem stood with the port. I moved all lines down 1 port. The last line is in port 13. I added line 13 to the trunk group and gave it priority 1. Wnen dialing out through line 13 I get a busy signal. I looked to see if is being restricted but I couldn't see anything out of the normal. The system has 2 line cards. Aren't the line cards 8 ports each? Thanks for any help!

There are 4 port cards, and the Power failure port jacks are easy to confuse with line ports.

They have 12 lines connected to the phone system. The system has 2 CO cards installed. Can They be 6 Port card?

The busy signal indicates that there is no line attached to that circuit/port.

How exactly did you move everything down by one port?

If you are working with an Aspire-S, CO cards are 4-port cards.

They have lines 001-006 for one company and lines 007-012 for another company. I moved lines 001-005 to ports 002-006 amd move lines 006 to port 013. I left lines 007-012 alone. I assigned line 13 to priority 1 trung goup 1 line line oo1-line 006.

It has software version 4.01. When I cross connected the last line into port 13 I was off by half a pair. Reterminated the cross connect and all is working correctly. Stupid tech error.. :bang: The system has 8 port CO cards.
