Can someone out here give an amateur a hand? I've taken over the phone system administration and need to fix a few extensions assigned to specific buttons on our receptionists dterm DCU-60-1 console. Until today I was using a desk phone to actually make station assignments, but I recvd the Matworx software and cable and have the program successfully connected to the pbx. Its not been necessary to make changes to the receptionists console before so I'm not sure how to go about it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First find MOC mode in the drop down menus. This is the command line interface for the system. Learn this and you can never go wrong! Then if you are used to CAT mode (that's where you login from a phone) see here for a conversion table.... https://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=6315 I would also reccomend downloading both the command manual and the feature programming manual try here.... https://www.necphonesystem.co.uk/2008/11/25/if-you-need-to-rtfm-here-they-are/ Or if that fails then for most porposes you can use the IVS2 manuals (it's a generation earlier but uses the same command structure) a copy of which can be found here.... https://www.wedophones.com/NecManualsLead.htm Specificaly you are interested in Cmds 96 (to find out which module you are dealing with) and Cmd 97 for the actual key assignment! Hope this helps! R4

Thank you! I'll look at this tomorrow and hopefully make the changes necessary.
Its funny... since I made mention to the town crier that I was trying to figure out how to fix the switchboard console, I've got users coming out of the woodwork with complaints about their phones.
Note to self: STHU. ;o)
