On the SV8100 D.S.S. on each button there are 2 lamps. I know the left lamp is a red BLF but what is the right lamp for. I had one lit solid green today and I dont know why. I thought it may have been for V.M. message status but I have that shut off in 30-05-21 and of course it it is gone and I dont know why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I can see the green one is for MWI set from a user rather than the voicemail. Pity that when the VMS sets MWI that the DSS doesn't show up green so that the operator could see who has a MWI from the VMS..

The reception desk can set a lamp green so the employee knows they have a message at the front desk vs. a voicemail.

This has been a feature since the Elite 48/192.

The only purpose I found is the "Page Switching"

a phone with attendant privellages can set and cancel messages using this lamp. the phone related to the DSS where you saw the green light should have also had the large LED lit green. I think the feature is called Message Waiting - Attendant
