Looking for a device that I and install with the DSX-40 to record calls.My customer want to record conversations between insurance companys and worker.I don't think the intermail is large enough to do this.

Ive been using these you can either hook a single unit to the extensions you want to record or put them on the CO lines to record all calls on those lines . It records to a PC via USB and the software is easy to use the support is really good for installs , if there is a issue they will come in remotely and configure it for you

The Intramail Pro can send the recorded conversation as a wave file to an e-mail account. If you have the Intramail already upgrade to version 3 then you can add the Pro feature to your system.

That's right, use Intra Mail Pro and you can record from the extension and send it to an email. Works great.

Intramil is fine for occasional recording but to record all calls at all times I see a few issues
will it record automaicly or does the user have to press the record button ?
what if the user forgets to press the button on a important call ?
when its recording isn't it taking up a VM port while recording ?
it seems a quantity of emailed recordings could be hard to manage

The large files are my concern say 30 to 45 mins of recording time per day.

I'm in the process of upgrading a dozen sites from single station recording to all call . all station recording as a result I have some of these availible they record via USB to the HD on the workstation for what your doing I would think its a better solution than using the record function on intra mail PM sent
