as long as you do 4-1 changes than hit transfer, than 4-2 changes and transfer, you should be fine.
I do not think I ever ran into a system not saving my changes. The only thing I could think of is 1 card not being programmed right. Either the CO or station card. Do your lines work on the phones? Are all the phones working?
