NEC Electra Prof defaulted programming. reference material leaves something to be desired. Just want to restore access to external paging.

Should be, Press Speaker (or lift Handset) Dial 55.

tried that but not getting out of phone system. Paging port is trunk port 16. Is there some admin programming needed?

You will need put that trunk in a separate trunk group & add an access code. Or put CO16 on a button.
