Hi all -- I'm trying to make a minor programming change on an NEAX2000 IVS system and am having a problem. All that I'm looking to do is restrict 5 lines from dialing out. I have Matworx, have gone into MOC>1201>ext# and changed the 11 for d/o to 88. Confirmed the change takes in MOC, but the users are still able to dial out.

Needless to say the boss is a bit irritated with our warehouse guys spending most of the weekend on the phone rather than driving unloading trucks.

What am I missing?

Thanks~

Do you have any other phones are set up this way? If not you will have to setup restrictions on the routes is cm5xxx>000>xx.

Be careful blocking total outgoing access. Around here, we can be held liable if an end-user needs to dial 911 and we have the set blocked. Local dialing can be restricted, but emergency calls still need to go through.

Just food for thought.

1201 is the correct place to change the extensions class of restriction. However it depends on what restriction levels are set to the class you are assigning! First check is how restrictions are assigned (old fasioned way or LCR) so we would need to know what your line access code is assigned in command 200. If it is between A126-A129 then it's Lcr and could get complicated. anything else, post back and we will take it from there!

Heck post back either way and we will try to help (with the usual disclaimers of course)
