We're offloading some of our calls coming into our main office to another office. The other office is all set up to take the calls into their ACD (Thanks doghart). So for redundancy I'm going to keep the 800 numbers coming into our switch and just CF/A to the DID/ACD Pilot at the other office...this is all fine, but what is not fine is the voice prompt callers will get when they are being re-routed. "Please hold on, your call is being re-routed" it's just too loud and too annoying. Where is that option for that prompt located so I can either A. turn it off (best solution) or B. change it to something a little more subtle?

I thought it was coming from EliteMail as well Doghart, but looking through the prompt editor, I couldn't find that statement.
40-10-01 did the trick for the above message.
I still hear Sandy say "please hold on while I try that extension", so that's good are there any other uh-oh's with changing that I should be aware of?

Hmm... well to answer my own question, with VRS Fixed Messaging off, it caused about half of the transferred calls to end at a busy signal. Does that even make sense?

Knee jerk? You are running out of trunks! Every call forwarded through the system is using 2 lines/trunks. One inbound, one outbound.

With Sandy or amy saying "please hold on while I try that extension" you can just F2 copy 'silence' over it - not sure how you get it back if you wanted to (Never been asked to put that annoying announcement back!)
Cant see other than out of trunks calls getting busy.
