I'm working on the ds 1000 and haveing trouble installing a door box, I have a analog door box, my first question is should i have icm dial tone comming out of the DOOR 1 port (by dfault) on the ds 1000? I checked and ext 324 is programmed as (10) door box, programmed the chime, how do I program the ring group master ext and the ring group, in the manual i'm getting conflicting infomation. There are 6 ext 300-305 should i not put 300 in the ring group? no relay control will be used. Thanks for any help on this!

Pretty sure the door boxes are proprietary if you are using NEC programming for Door box. If you are using a generic door box that works off a co port OR an analog (pots) you will need that to interface.
