Hi i have an Electra ELite IPK 11 system. Currently when we want to dial outside we need to press 91 and then 10 digit number. I wanna change the 91 to 81 because people are dialing 911 by mistake. So can anyone advise me how to do that.

Thanks,
TRI.

If You have Never Programmed an IPKII you may want to consider getting a tech to do this for you. By changing your Line Groups it will open alot of different door's.

You'll have to have a Tech do that for You. The Tech will have to Go into System Programming Via a Laptop to Make System Line Group Change's. Also to verify what else in Your System will be affected by doing so.

Do as the others have suggested, call in a certified tech. We are here to help on minor issues, what your asking is far more complex.

No offense, but isn't that what the forums are for? To help those that don't have access to a tech for help or those trying to figure this stuff out on their own!? I specifically signed up for this forum because I want help setting up my own IPK II system.

As it turns out, the setting TRI is looking for is in the system options. I found it while poking around in my own system. Unfortunately, I am so new to the system I can't remember where I went. It was not complicated at all. There was a setting in the web interface that said something like "Outgoing Trunk Calls" or something. Mine is set to "9" but all I have to do is change it to an "8" and I'd have what TRI is looking for.

I hope folks on here will be helpful - more than just "call a tech."

Okay, here are the places I have found reference to "9" in relation to trunk access:

There may be others, and I am brand new to my IPK-II, so forgive me and use at your own risk ;-)
