I have a bunch of phones with dead pixels on the LCD display. NEC has replaced these 2-3 times now stating there were bad batches of these. Now I have no more warranty on these.
Does anyone know where i can purchase ONLY the display? the phone works fine but the LCD needs changing.

Contact NEC about his problem, I am still getting them replaced under warranty because of a known problem with some batches. And no, they are not going to sell you just a display, sorry. I would guess it is the ribbon cable.
Actually NEC is now providing an LCD kit so you can just replace the LCD screen and the ribbon cable.
You will have to purchase from an authorized dealer though.
Your sets may be covered even if they are not under warranty. Contact your dealer and give them the serial numbers, they'll let you know any costs to replace and if they have access to the new LCD kits.
