Via a POTS modem, I connected to the NEC Electra Elite IPK system. downloaded the system. Made only changes to the user names associated with phones. Uploaded the changes. They took. But now I cannot log back into the phone system. I made no password changes. Rebooted both the system and the modem. Still no go.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is there anyone else in "Program Mode"? if so, you can't be Logged into Both. Are You able to get into Program Mode Through a Phone? Also, what Msg do You get from the Program?

there is no one else in. I go through the modem,the receiving modem accepts the call, the message "connecting to KTS System, please wait..." then stops trying to connect without an error message. I have also typed in the wrong password for the system and get no acknowledgment of bad password.
I have not tried to get into Program Mode via a phone

It seems like there is a password somewhere for remote connection. I've had issues connecting with SAT because of a password.

Put password in and see if it changes.
Or check to make sure there is no password.
Can you connect with SAT locally?

i tried via a 9 pin - no go. I tried sooo many passwords via modem. The frustrating thing is I get no error msg nor is there a log to check. an my changes took and the system didn't blow up when I bounced it.
how did you ultimately get in?

Have note recorded documented that (recently picked up the account), I'll have to check. There is an rj45 port on it.
what are your recommendations?
