I have been doing some testing with the Snom 870 along with some Epygi PBX's.
The touchscreen on the 870 is pretty slick. It's got kind of a soft feel to it, not like your touch cell phone that feels real hard.
What I DONT like about it is the fact that there are no words on it anywhere! It's all icons. and while they are pretty intuitive, there is a learning curve. It would be nice if they just had simple text labels under the image.
I'll have to log back into the phone and check, maybe there is a way to turn that on but by default it's not.
Other than that, the phone preforms fine. Cool ring tones, neat screen.
OH also, in the dark, the screen is so bright you can't see anything else. I wish that had made all of the buttons backlit so you could see the keypad. At night, dim lights, the screen is totally blinding
