I have a 124i system witha NVM2e that we installed caller ID on, when the call goes through the Auto Attendant and then transfers off to a phone the caller ID doesn't follow You will see on the display "transfer from voice mail" If we hit the flash button when the call is on hold the CID wll show Also if we take the NVM 2e out of the mix the CID works fine Seems that we have to change something in this NVM unit any suggestions

Is the voice mail set for unsupervised or supervised transfer?

I don't remember the program number but there is a setting that enables the system to pass caller ID to voice mail.

In the call routing table you have to do a unsupervised transfer. If you are using a supervised transfer caller ID will not appear before you answer the call. As a separate issue you do not want to turn on "send caller ID to voice mail" as it causes errors immediately when the call is answered on most versions.

Send caller ID works with the NVM2e, its the 3rd party voice mail systems the caller ID to voice mail causes problems and has to be disabled.

The NVM2e does is programmed for unscreened transfer for dial action 3 but still the caller ID will only show if you press the flash key
