I have two issues but both are similar.

First, I have a customer that has an Aspire S. They inherited it from the previous owners of the company. They have no passwords and cannot access their auto-attendant and individual vm's. I need to add one handset and help them program vm's.

Second, another customer has an IPK Elite II that they purchased from a large organization that does not service them anymore. They need to upgrade their vm for more live record time. (I have a 256mg NEC IPK II flash currently).

I have the manuals to program the systems but I really need the software to make changes.

I am having to pass up on opportunities and give them to competitors due to this issue. Hurts!

Any help would be gladly appreciated!

You can Program the IPK II through a Web Brouser, (System and Voice Mail), you'll find the Default In the Manual. I can't comment on the Aspire, Never done One.

Really appreciate the help on the IPK II. They do not currently have a compact flash card in the system. Since the vm programming seems to be on the vm card, can I just plug the IPK Elite 256mg compact card in the back of the vm port card to expand recording space? Or is there some additional programming involved?

If Your not used to working on the IPK II System You might want to consider subbing it out to an NEC Tech.

The Aspire if it has a NIC card in it can be programed through a web browser. It can be done as well through a phone. But, I would think about having a trained NEC Tech do the work. If the admin passwords have been changed. Your going to have to default the system and program it over.

Welcome to the club... Not everyone can do every system. If you become friendly with with the local competition they may have people contact them on systems that they don't handle, and they can pass them onto you.

"I need to add one handset"

The phones are designed to be used with one handset so adding an additional handset may be impossible, unless you are talking adding about whole PHONE.
