Is it possible to go through the administrator handset to program an extension to ring as calls come in. (currently setup to ring after 3 rings). If not can I do a handset swap through the the admin handset. Note: I have the software to go into the phone system but noone knows the password and I am not up for reprogramming the system. Thanks

It is possible to program the system from any phone, but you still need the password. My suggestion would be to get the manual before attempting any changes as you can easily mess something else up. Or better yet, call a good NEC tech who can have it done in 5 minutes. Sounds like a simple change.

you could also make sure your system is put on the network, get some trying on administrating on the web, address any otehr issues/wnats yo may have and get the system working and doing thing you never thought possible. I good tech can do wonders in very little time.
