OK just to clarify..... is it the same person saying the same thing? perhaps that is the message? If we can eliminate the "phone-call" from being a left message, then we can move forward. Chances are there is a bug, why is beyond me, neverheard of anything like that.
I have had a similar problem that I was unable to recreate on a cell phone notification. User would say they log into VM and could not get anything to work. Come to find out it was their cell phone vm that answered the notification call....Vm mail left on cell phone was the NEC vm mail saying press 1 to listen to message. This could be the receptionist accidently sending a call she just made to the VM box of this user.

I would get into the voicemail with a terminal and look at that voicemail box. I wonder if someone tried to hack their way through that mailbox and affected something.

my suggestion is default system and reload it (just sounds too wierd) or if you guys have it use the IN-MAIL backup and restore program to clear the in-mail out

This is an UltraMail. Personally I would just delete the mailbox from system and add it back in and see if that fixes it.

That's exactly what I did, and everything seems to be working correctly now. This was a very weird problem. Thanks for all of your help and suggestions!
