Hello

We've got an NEC Aspire M system that was installed before we took over support of a company.

The auto-attendant needs to be updated yet using the PCPro there are currently no settings in the Auto Attendant Single Digit Operation.

Adding the pilot codes to the default message has no effect either.

Is there any other way the company could have set this up, I've tried getting in touch with them and they're 'getting an engineer to call me back' but as we've got the contract now I'm unsure whether I'll be hearing from them.

What VM are you using? Also, how do you take over support for a customer without knowing how to program what you are supporting?

We're primarily an IT Support/Development company but the Phone System came with when we took over.

Most things we've figured out via manuals or process of elimination.

Unsure if VM is even used, under VoiceMail in the easy edit there is:

VoiceMail DSPDB
IntraMail - Don't think this is running as 47-01-17 is set to 0
AspireMail DMS

Well, you are going to need to access that VM. Either via Web, or terminal..or other depending on what you are using for voice mail. Normally you are looking for DAT or Dial Action Tables that set that stuff up. You might want to consider teaming up with a company certified on the Aspire because everything is not in the manuals per se.
