From the phone, intercom, dial 700, enter code 55
Using PC pro or Web pro go to program 15-01-01

Trying to do this - can't get it to "take." Displays OK, change the name, but how do save it? Which I guess "55" is the save function? Originally posted by dans: From the phone, intercom, dial 700, enter code 55

Just dial 700, then enter the ext# of the station name you want to change, then use the alpha characters on the dial pad to program the name, then press HOLD
Not sure where the 55 came from, never had to use that.

Thanks, D. That worked! How ;bout another question for ya: IS there a way to use the software to change/flip the ext. #'s in the system? vs. having to actually change the wiring/punch-down? We had a couple employees flip offices and I'm looking for an easy fix. instead of paying a service call.

The IPK II did not have a SWAP feature via Webpro from what I have seen.
There may be a way to swap ext's with a service code, but I don't believe there is a default code for station swap, so it could be anything.
